21st Century Learning! What is it?

Fall 2010
We are coming up to the start of the school year and I will attempt to address the big question (What is 21st Century Learning) that is best answered by trainers, teachers and students who have been exposed th this method of learning.

Ah Ha Moment

Now that we are coming to the end of the school year I would like to take a moment to thank all of my family and friends who has supported me during my times of stress. The Fashion Show was a success and the students are preparing for their Regents before going off to a new chapter in their lives.

YOU ARE THE DREAM

Finally the day has arrived The Dream that was started by Martin Luther King in 1963 has now become a reality. As I compose this segment President-elect Barack Obama is making his way to Washington D.C. to take up residence in the White House as the 44th President of the United States.

The world is watching with bated breath to see if the promises made are going to be kept. One of my students remarked that she is waiting to see if he will be like all the rest. My first instinct was to was to ask her not to be so quick to judge; but I kept quiet because she was just voicing how people are feeling but are afraid to give those feelings and thoughts substance. Words have a way of becoming concrete and adults avoid giving negativity any kind of substance.

Almost at the end

We are on the final stages of the school year 2008, and as we gear up for the summer I want to wish all of you a restful break. Hope we all come back with new ideas to stimulate the minds of our students.

I enjoyed a lot of the information that I found on the various sites that I visited and hope that in the coming year we all can contribute more meaningful information.
